White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Tuesday that President Trump "believes" he has the power to fire Special Counsel Robert Mueller if he wishes to do so. The statement contradicts what those in the Justice Department have told CBS News throughout the investigation: That only Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has the power to fire Mueller.
