NY Times: Trump campaign manager unfazed by falling poll numbers

According to the New York Times, President Trump's campaign manager Brad Parscale is not concerned about Mr. Trump's polling numbers. Despite having to pivot to managing a campaign from home, Parscale is convinced the coronavirus pandemic will have no negative affect on the president's numbers in the upcoming election. Dr. Fauci blocked from testifying before House

Members of the White House's coronavirus task force will not be allowed to testify on Capitol Hill this month unless they are given permission by Chief of Staff Mark Meadows. Trump administration cuts funding into coronaviruses in bats

The Trump administration has cut funding for U.S. nonprofit research into coronaviruses in bats. The renowned EcoHealth Alliance saw its $3.7 grant revoked over their ties to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has accused of engineering the novel coronavirus in one of its labs. Professor Robert Garry of the University of Tulane joins CBSN to talk funding cuts, conspiracy theories, and the importance of cataloging the hundreds of different coronaviruses found in Chinese bats.
