In his most extensive comments, the father of Newtown gunman Adam Lanza said what his son did couldn't "get any more evil'' and he now wishes his son had never been born.
Alissa Parker, mother of 6-year-old Emilie Parker, said she wanted to meet with Adam Lanza's father to tell him "something'' she needed to get out of her system.
A spokesman for the family said Monday that Peter Lanza claimed the remains of Adam Lanza. He says there were private arrangements over the weekend, but won't elaborate on what those arrangements were.
While police have learned much about the horrific violence Adam Lanza brought to Sandy Hook Elementary School, much still remains unknown.
Officials said Sunday that with the amount of ammunition Newtown elementary school massacre gunman Adam Lanza was carrying, he could have killed every student at the school.
Along with the arduous task of going over crime scenes, police Saturday morning were trying to gain insight into the killer.
Police believe Peter Lanza's home may yield clues into the unthinkable and appalling crime perpetuated by his 20-year-old son -- the massacre of 27 people inside Sandy Hook Elementary School and the killing of his own mother inside her nearby home.
