The haze from Canadian wildfires that turned the skies orange in June called everyone's attention to the importance of air quality and just how bad it can get. CBS's national environmental correspondent David Schechter explains what ozone is, how it affects us and what wildfires have to do with it.
The culprit remains ground level ozone.
This time, the culprit is not Canadian wildfire smoke - it's ground level ozone.
For particle pollution over a 24-hour period, the Tri-State Area got a "C" from the American Lung Association.
