Friday is the last day on the job for Sarah Feinberg, who is stepping down as interim president of the New York City Transit Authority.
Feinberg says she would consider being state MTA chair, a position that would be created if the State Senate decides to split her current role into two jobs.
The MTA has not said what caused the problem.
