The Kansas City Chiefs sport an unblemished (3-0) record, while the New York Giants are a winless (0-3). The Chiefs were able to put away Andy Reid's former club, the Philadelphia Eagles 26-16 last Thursday night. The Giants suffered through a 38-0 embarrassment at the hands of the Carolina Panthers that left the team battered and bruised, especially on the offensive line.
With the offense coming off a shutout last weekend and two members of the O-line looking very doubtful for Kansas City on Sunday, New York Giants offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride is facing a major challenge.
An upbeat Tom Coughlin is promising a more physical team. And if practice was any indication Wednesday, there was a little feistiness to the workout.

The Kansas City Chiefs had the worst record in the NFL last year at 2-14, so after three weeks of the regular season, KC has already passed their win total from last year. The New York Giants were supposed to challenge for the NFC East title this year, but after Sunday's shutout loss to the Carolina Panthers, New York has dropped to 0-3. Kansas City looks for the momentum to continue, while New York desperately looks for a "W."
After a 38-0 drubbing on Sunday, the backlash for the 0-3 Giants has been coming in waves.
Speaking to WFAN's Mike Francesa during his normal spot on Monday, Manning disagreed with the notion suggested by former Big Blue linebacker Carl Banks earlier in the day that the Giants simply gave up during the 38-0 defeat.
Hakeem Nicks, considered by many to be New York's best receiver, was completely held in check by the Carolina defense. Playing in his hometown, the 25-year-old was thrown to just one time and didn't catch a pass.
"They don't like themselves," the two-time Super Bowl champion told Joe & Evan. "That's what it really comes down to. They don't like each other. They're not willing to fight for each other."
