A Frost Advisory in place for Sussex, Warren, Hunterdon, Morris, Passaic, Fairfield, Dutchess, Putnam, Westchester, Rockland, Orange and Ulster Counties from 11 p.m. Saturday through 9 a.m. Sunday.

Elsewhere, lows will dip into the low and mid 40s.

Sunday and beyond

On Sunday, full sunshine will return, but so too will be the breezy conditions. Gusts will range between 25-35 mph, and with dry air in place, the chance of wildfire development will become elevated throughout the day.

A Special Weather Statement has been issued due to an elevated risk of wildfire development for all of New York City, Long Island, and the Hudson Valley during the day on Sunday.

Despite the sunshine, high temperatures will remain on the cool side, only reaching the upper 50s to lower 60s.
