NYPD: Man Sought In Manhattan Bank Burglary String
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for a man in connection to a series of bank burglaries in Manhattan.
According to police, the suspect struck five banks between April 6 and August 16.
In each burglary, the suspect entered the premises by breaking or removing glass panels on site, police said. The suspect struck only during non-business hours.
The burglar struck three times at the same Investors Bank on 5th Avenue in Midtown, and most recently, at a Santander location on 7th Avenue between 19th and 20th streets.
It is unclear how much cash was stolen in each incident.
