Yellow Alert Friday for a light to moderate snowfall of 1-3+".

All winter weather advisories and storm warnings have been canceled.

Whiting, New Jersey, was the big winner in Ocean County. There was not much accumulation north of I-95 and very little north of 287.

Edison, Iselin and Monmouth Hills all got 2.2-2.8 inches, while Hackettstown got 1.2 inches.

In New York, Scarsdale got 1 inch of snow.

Freezing temperatures

It's 28 degrees right now, feeling like 20. Our next concern is a deep freeze overnight with temps dropping into the teens overnight, feeling as cold as 5 below.

Expect roads to get worse as the night rolls on. The coldest air settles in early Saturday morning, untreated roads will remain icy and dangerous.

Saturday afternoon remains frozen with temperatures in the 20s feeling like the teens and single digits.
