Hotter weather returns to Maryland later this week

A beautiful start to the workweek is about to give way to much hotter weather across Maryland heading into the weekend.

Pleasant weather continues in Baltimore Tuesday evening

Temperatures peak in the mid to upper 70s early in the evening across our area, with plenty of sunshine.

It'll become cooler-feeling pretty quickly after sunset. Temperatures cool back through the 70s and will be in the 60s by mid-evening. It'll be a pleasant evening for plans across the entire state. Get out and enjoy the dry, pleasant weather.

Summer weather returns to Maryland

Temperatures start to trend warmer heading into the middle of the workweek, ahead of a hot weekend.

Baltimore will climb into the lower 80s on Wednesday afternoon, followed by upper 80s on Thursday. We'll soar into the 90s Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Humidity will also creep up this weekend. It may feel even hotter, thanks to the muggier feeling.

While mostly dry on Saturday, a chance of showers and storms gets a boost on Sunday.

Showers, storms arrive this weekend

Following a mostly dry Saturday, changes arrive for the second-half of the weekend. Scattered showers and storms will move in on Sunday; especially during the afternoon and evening. Brief heavy rain and lightning may send a few outdoor plans indoors. Temperatures will drop from the 90s into the 80s where rain pops-up.

Scattered showers linger into Monday as cooler weather blows back into Maryland.
