Jerry Recco was at it again on Friday.
First, we heard about the Daniel Murphy press conference, which featured the former Mets second baseman debuting as a member of the rival Washington Nationals.
That news inevitably led to Boomer & Craig discussing the Mets' offseason. The Blonde Bomber expressed satisfaction with the way the upper-brass has been running things the last few years, while Craig's dissatisfaction seems to grow more and more with each passing day.
Jerry also had tidbits on Mike Piazza saying he will enter the Hall as a Met, Bobby Valentine recalling what he was doing when he learned that he would be managing Piazza with the Mets, and the NFL's Wild Card Weekend.
