B&C Morning Show: Say It Ain't So, Robinson Cano!
Robinson Cano still has two years and $29 million left on his current contract with the Yankees, but word is the All-Star second baseman is looking to have his deal re-worked.
Cano's agent, Scott Boras, reportedly reached out to the Yankees brass about his client's wishes and has yet to hear back - that according to the NY Post.
This on top of the Yankees' pending problems with their 'hefty-lefty' CC Sabathia, who is likely to opt out of his current deal following the conclusion of the World Series.
Boomer & Craig of course opened today's radio program talking about the latest problem in Yankee-land and the motives of 'super-agent' Scott Boras, who was not Cano's agent when he signed his last deal by the way.
As for the Giants, head coach Tom Coughlin is talking up the merits of the Miami Dolphins as he prepares his team for Sunday's clash at MetLife Stadium.
Craig has been telling us all week that there is no way the Giants can lose to the hapless Dolphins and he believes Coughlin's warning stems from what he has been saying. Craig even took the time to 'paraphrase' the coach's address to his team and went on to say the Giants should treat Sunday's game as a scrimmage.
Boomer agrees the Dolphins aren't a very good team, but warns Craig about his bravado. The Blonde Bomber's real focus was on tonight's Rangers home-opener against the Toronto Maple at the refurbished (phase 1 of 3) MSG, a game he will be in attendance for.
