B&C Morning Show: Jerry's Extensive Update, Suzyn's Career Options

Jerry "Rello" Recco got himself in a bit of hot water with Boomer & Craig when he used the word "deferred" to describe LeBron James' actions in the 4th quarter of last night's NBA Finals Game 3 - when James passed to Chris Bosh - who hit what proved to be the game-winner with 39 seconds left on the clock.  With the victory, the Heat gained a 2-1 series lead and took back home-court advantage.

The Mets have won 3 of their last 4 and despite the injuries continuing to pile up - Beltran left yesterday's game after fouling a ball off of his shin - Terry Collins has his ball club inching towards the .500 mark.  Yesterday - behind Jose Reyes - the Mets beat the Braves 6-4 and now will fly to Milwaukee for a 3-game set with the Brewers that will start tomorrow (6/7).

As for the Yankees, they wrapped up their West Coast trip with a 5-3 win over the Angels thanks in part to Mark Teixeira's 2-home run, 3 RBI performance.  Nick Swisher also went deep and John Sterling had a tough time describing the long ball on the radio.  Then Craig imagined how it might sound if Sterling's partner in the booth, Suzyn Waldman, called the Westminster Dog Show.

After losing their first two games in Seattle, the Bombers rebounded to sweep the A's and finish the trip with a record of 6-3 and will welcome the Red Sox to the Bronx for a 3 games series beginning tomorrow.

Also, Craig is finding it harder and harder to listen to Joe Buck call a baseball game and Plaxico Buress is scheduled to be released from prison today after serving his 20 month sentence.
