B&C Morning Show: CC Ya Later? Could Sabathia's Days In Pinstripes Be Coming To An End?

With the 2011 World Series coming to a conclusion, CC Sabathia's days as a Yankee could be numbered.

All indications are that the Yankees' hefty lefty will opt out of his current contract, which he is entitled to do when this year's Fall Classic concludes.  The Yankees will then have an exclusive 3-day window to negotiate a new deal with CC -- and Boomer is confident the two sides will figure something out to keep him in pinstripes, although he is a bit concerned about Sabathia's health moving forward.

Craig on the other hand, he  is expecting the worst.  He began to imagine life in the Bronx without the services of last year's 19-game winner - and even went as far to picture him wearing a different uniform, say that of the Red Sox or Cubs?

One thing the 'Dynamic Radio Duo' could agree on was that Sabathia has every right to exercise his option and deserves whatever he ends up getting.  Boomer just hopes it isn't a case of diabetes.

Speaking of high-profile players preparing to test the free-agent waters, Cardinals 1st baseman Albert Pujols will be a on the open market regardless of what his team does in the World Series and Craig is starting to think he might not be such a 'prime-time' player after all.

So as is always the case, Boomer & Craig had their work cut out for them getting things started today, and as always they did so in a very professional manner...
