B&C Morning Show: Beltran's Mole And Oh What A Night In The Bronx
The Yankees got a thrilling 5-4 come-from-behind win over the Blue Jays in the Bronx last night -- and according to Jerry "Rello" Recco in his first update of the morning, Curtis Granderson had himself a "night."
Granderson collected 4 hits and scored the game-winning run, so Jerry's assessment was accurate, but Craig did not care for his lack of an adjective in his description. All's well that ends well though, because Jerry eventually broke into song and I think Craig enjoyed it.
Craig's mood quickly shifted back to foul as Jerry recapped the Mets' 11-1 loss to the Cubs at Wrigley Field. In light of everything that is going on with the Mets these days, Cragie took some time to wonder aloud why Carlos Beltran - who has made well over $120 million in his career - never bothered to get the mole next to his right ear removed. Hmmm...
