B&C Morning Show: A Weekend Like No Other
After 'a weekend like no other,' Boomer & Craig had their work cut out for them this morning.
First of all we have a couple of New York baseball teams heading in opposite directions, as Joe Girardi watched his mighty Yankees get swept by the Tampa Bay Rays, while Terry Collins has led the fun-loving Mets to a perfect 3-0 start.
Surely no one saw that coming, but regardless of who you root for one thing is clear, baseball is back baby - and that is a good thing.
The magic was back at the Garden yesterday afternoon, as Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks to a thrilling, 100-99 overtime win over Derek Rose and the Bulls. It was Melo's three-pointer with 8 seconds remaining in OT that sealed the deal for the Knickerbockers, capping off a 43-point afternoon for the Knicks' superstar and Craig thinks it's time he gets the credit he deserves.
On top of all of that, we had golf's first major of the year, as Bubba Watson defeated Louis Oosthuizen on the second playoff hole, to win the Masters and capture his first 'Green Jacket'...
