9/22 CBS2 Tuesday Afternoon Weather Headlines

We'll see some lingering cloud cover on this final day of summer, but sunshine should break through later on. Highs today will be similar to that of yesterday in the low to mid 70s.

More clearing is expected into tonight. Temps will fall into the low 60s once again. And in case you're wondering, autumn begins at 4:22 am.

High pressure will take control tomorrow and provide us with abundant sunshine and above normal temps... nearly 80°! And you can expect a near repeat on Thursday with pleasant skies and temps approaching the 80° mark.

And as of now, all of the events planned for The Pontiff's visit should stay dry.
