Chicago weather: Severe weather risk for Wednesday night, lows near 50
Multiple rounds of storms bring a risk of flooding and severe weather before quieter, cooler weather returns this weekend.
Between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Wednesday, a new round of showers and thunderstorms moves through the area, bringing the potential for damaging winds, an isolated tornado, and flooding rainfall.
A Flood Watch is in effect areawide through Wednesday night. As a reminder, never drive through a water-covered roadway.
