1 dead, 1 injured in Brooklyn shooting, NYPD says
NEW YORK -- One person was killed and another was injured in a shooting in Brooklyn on Monday night.
It happened just before 8 p.m. on Mother Gaston Boulevard in Brownsville.
Police said a 50-year-old man was shot in the back and later died at the hospital, and a 41-year old man was shot in the shoulder and is expected to recover.
The motive for the shooting is unclear.
