Alleged plot

On this Sept. 11, a Florida man is charged with plotting to set off an explosion at a 9/11 remembrance event. The FBI joint terrorism task force arrested 20-year-old Joshua Goldberg at his parents' house. Prosecutors say he told an online informant how to make the bomb he wanted.

Women warriors

CBS News has the results of a one-of-a-kind Marine Corps experiment that will help determine the future of women in war. The study compared men and women fighting side by side, and the final report says there are stark differences between two sexes on the battlefield.

Hybrid slump

Excitement over hybrid vehicles is dwindling, with even leaders such as Toyota seeing sales dry up as a global glut in oil keeps gas prices low and as standard cars become more fuel-efficient. There is one electric car maker bucking the trend, however.

Apple stock

Despite this week's splashy product rollout, Apple's stock price has idled this year, under-performing other tech heavyweights such as Google and Facebook. So what's keeping a lid on the tech giant's shares?
