Tumultuous transition

President-elect Donald Trump continues to shake up his White House transition team with only 65 days left until he assumes the Oval Office. Amid a flurry of changes to his team, Vice President-elect Mike Pence, in charge of the massive task, has purged all lobbyists from the group.

Electoral College

Hillary Clinton now leads President-elect Donald Trump by about a million people in the popular vote. But that won’t change the outcome of the election in the crucial Electoral College, where Mr. Trump has a big advantage. We take a look at the growing movement to reform the way we choose our presidents.

Bannon’s words

Democrats, and even some Republicans, aren’t happy with President-elect Donald Trump’s choice of Steve Bannon as chief White House strategist. Bannon has been called a racist, an anti-Semite and a white nationalist, and there’s substantial fodder for his critics. We review some of Bannon’s own remarks.

Anxious allies

A visit to the Acropolis gave President Obama a break from his mission in Europe; assuring leaders that President-elect Donald Trump won’t abandon them. ‎Their concerns vary, but one of the most urgent is Mr. Trump’s stance on the recently-enacted Paris Agreement to combat global warming.

Trump Tower security

The Secret Service and the New York Police Department are coordinating an unprecedented security plan to protect all 68 stories of Trump Tower in Manhattan, home to President-elect Donald Trump and his business. Protesters have gathered outside the building since his election.

Your health care

Boomerang kids

Millennials take note: If you bounce back to you parents’ basement, they may demand you sign on the dotted line. An insurance group is offering parents who fear their adult children will fail to launch after college a “Welcome Home Contract,” that sets out terms for living with mom and dad.
