For the bottom of his ticket, Donald Trump needs a steady hand with some understanding of how to run a government -- someone who can reassure the GOP there's an adult in the room and maybe walk the billionaire through the ramifications of policy decisions. Unfortunately for Trump, Will Rahn says, there don't seem to be many candidates who fit the bill.
Fight for Fallujah
In 2004, more than 100 U.S. Marines and soldiers died fighting for the city on Baghdad's doorstep. Since then, the Iraqi army and ISIS have fought to standstill. We meet the commander who says ISIS is surrounded, and ask him how much longer the extremists can stay entrenched.
Testing patience
Backlash against long airport security lines has reached the nation's biggest metro area, as travelers at airports in New York and New Jersey join a growing chorus of complaints about TSA staffing and wait times. Now the Port Authority is threatening to take action if the TSA doesn't pick up the pace.

In western Canada, rain was deliverance for fire crews praying for a break. Light showers and cooler temperatures helped slow the explosive wildfire that has been dubbed "the beast." It has already charred more than 620 square miles in Canada's oil country, and for thousands of people, the nightmare goes on.
