Brooklyn bruiser
Tension and acrimony between Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and Democratic rival Hillary Clinton has increased in parallel with national support for Sanders, which has translated into a string of recent primary wins. By the time they met for their ninth debate in New York, both were ready to go on the attack.
Exchange of fire
The Democratic candidates didn't get through the first hour of last night's debate without clashing over a topic that's dominated many of the headlines in the New York primary race: gun control. Hillary Clinton again attacked Bernie Sanders over his past votes against certain gun control measures.
Tiny survivor

Detox truth
