Twenty-five local high school graduates thought they were just lining up with over 80 of their peers to receive dorm essentials. However, they got the gift of a lifetime—a scholarship for four years of higher education.
As Gov. Ron DeSantis and other state leaders try to remake New College of Florida, the school is tapping into $15 million from the Legislature to offer $10,000 scholarships to prospective students.
