Police said, sometime between 5 a.m. and 5:30 a.m., officers responded to a call from a woman about an "unwanted male subject" on the 600 block of 144th Place. The woman had an order of protection in place against the man.
Four young people were killed in the shooting late Saturday night at a dance studio in the town of Dadeville, Alabama.
The child was shot inside a home Tuesday morning, and is in the hospital, but their condition is not available.

Charity Johnson was shot after an argument in the first block of North Lorel Avenue on April 10.
He was identified as the second suspect who shot and killed the victim on Jan. 22, in the 8400 block of South Holland Road.

One man is dead and a woman is in the hospital after an attempted carjacking in the Bronzeville neighborhood. Police said, around 12:10 a.m., the victims were in a black sedan in the 4900 block of South Calumet Avenue, when two gunmen approached them and tried to steal their vehicle.
The officer sustained a "laceration to the head."
The ages of the victims range from 14 to 65.

A man wanted for murder is behind bars. Chicago Police and the Great Lakes Fugitive Task Force arrested 41-year-old Joseph Wilson. Police say Wilson shot and killed a 32-year-old man driving in the Lawndale neighborhood back in November of 2021. That shooting happened on Keeler and Filmore. Wilson was arrested just a block away on Thursday. He is due in bond court Sunday.
