An investigation is underway after a 2-year-old was shot Friday night, according to Gary police.
On Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022, security guard Norman Thomas was shot and killed during a jewelry store robbery at the mall in Calumet City. CBS 2's Tara Molina reports.
They are accused of shooting and killing security guard Norman Thomas at River Oaks Mall in Calumet City last year.
It happened in the 1600 block of West Howard Street around 1:51 p.m.
The unrelated shooting happened near the Howard terminal in Rogers Park.
Police are still searching for the shooters or shooters who killed Tramon Thomas and critically wounded his brother, Terrence.
The nurse was gunned down in Little Village four years ago.
The shooting happened on State Street near 71st Street.
All three victims were taken to the University of Chicago Medical center in good condition.
Police said, around 4:15 p.m., troopers responded to the Bishop Ford at 115th Street for a report of an expressway shooting.
The ages of the victims range from 17 to 47.
Around 6:23 p.m., the victim was approached by an unknown offender who fired shots and struck the victim in the torso area, police said.
