The judgments were entered against the estate of the shooter, Gary Martin.

Hundreds of people are marching on Capitol Hill to demand new efforts to stop gun violence, among them mothers still reeling from last week's deadly mass shooting in Highland Park.
"There is no reason a citizen needs to be walking the streets with a weapon of war," said Emily Lieberman.
"he is facing an urgent, complex, and lengthy surgery today to again attempt to repair his torn esophagus," a family spokesman said.
The U.S. Census shows in 2020, Highland Park's population was more than 30,000. More than 3,300 were Hispanics.
Irina McCarthy and her husband, Kevin, were shot and killed last Monday right in front of their 2-year-old son, Aiden, who was left an orphan.
"People feeling so much stronger together. And if there is any community that can pull through this, and see the light at the end of this darkness, I truly believe that it is this community."

Organizers said they expect more than 500 people to travel to D.C. for the march this week.
The mayor and governor said they expressed a desire for lawmakers to ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines.
In the 1990 case, a 16-year-old boy shot and killed his pregnant neighbor and her husband.
Prosecutors charged the suspect with seven counts of murder for each of the people killed in the parade shooting, but more charges could be filed later.
The moment of silence was held at the exact time the shooting started last Monday, and church bells tolled once for each of the seven people who died.
Not even a canceled flight kept the dogs and volunteers from traveling to help survivors.
Loved ones remembered Jackie Sundheim, Steven Straus and Nicolas Toledo on Friday.
"There's no reason that there should be a feeling danger looming at any event that should be safe for a family," Laura Chaimson said.
"At this time, the doctors do not believe that he suffered any brain damage or cognitive impact from the shooting," a family spokesperson said.
She designed yard signs that read "This Home is For: Background checks on all gun sales, banning assault rifles, and gun safety and safe storage."
Eduardo Uvaldo, 69, of Waukegan, was identified as the seventh person shot and killed in the massacre.
"When we needed the friends on the North Shore, they came. And now they need us. We're going to return the favor. Because now they've been touched by what we live every single day."
