Round Lake police are investigating the shooting death of a 17-year-old boy Wednesday night. Around 8:20 p.m., police responded to a call near Cedar Lake and Rollins roads, after receiving a 9-1-1 call from a cell phone in the area, according to the Lake County Coroner's Office.
Police were searching for a gunman who shot and killed a man on the city's east side. Chopper 2 was over Calhoun and Grand as officers searched for clues.
