A driver led police on a chase down the Eisenhower and Dan Ryan expressways during the evening rush Thursday. Marissa Sulek reports.
Police started following the car on the Eisenhower Expressway on Chicago’s West Side and ended up on the Dan Ryan on the city's South Side.
Saul A. Alba, 42, of Carpentersville, is facing multiple aggravated DUI charges, including being under the influence of alcohol involving death and driving on a revoked driver's license, among other traffic offenses.
It happened around 4:17 a.m. on the eastbound lanes of I-290 and Wolf Road in Hillside.
Berkely fire officials did not say how long the lanes will be closed but did say the crash was significant.

As emergency crews were working a rollover crash, a driver in a black jeep hit three vehicles, including one from the Chicago Fire Department, state police said.
