A pedestrian was hit by a car on the Eisenhower Expressway overnight.
Police activity disrupted train service at the Racine Avenue stop along the Eisenhower Expressway.
"You can outrun the police in certain circumstances. We terminate pursuits for safety reasons. But you can't outrun technology," Oak Brook Police Chief Brian Strockis said.
Police are crediting license plate readers and a Chicago Police Department helicopter with helping officers catch a woman who led them on a high-speed chase along the Dan Ryan and Eisenhower expressways on Thursday.
The car was wanted for fleeing and eluding out of west suburban Oak Brook.

Police started following the car on the Eisenhower Expressway on Chicago’s West Side and ended up on the Dan Ryan on the city's South Side.
Saul A. Alba, 42, of Carpentersville, is facing multiple aggravated DUI charges, including being under the influence of alcohol involving death and driving on a revoked driver's license, among other traffic offenses.
It happened around 4:17 a.m. on the eastbound lanes of I-290 and Wolf Road in Hillside.
Berkely fire officials did not say how long the lanes will be closed but did say the crash was significant.
The salt that the dump truck had been hauling ended up spilling off the Eisenhower Extension overpass onto Route 83 below, state police said.

Only minor injuries were reported, and no firefighters were hurt.
As emergency crews were working a rollover crash, a driver in a black jeep hit three vehicles, including one from the Chicago Fire Department, state police said.
It is unclear if slick road conditions caused the crash or if anyone was hurt.
Police said a vehicle was headed west in the eastbound lanes of I-290 near Wood Dale Road, when the driver hit another vehicle.
A vehicle was struck by gunfire on I-290 near Elmhurst, but no injuries have been reported.
Motorists at a ramp from the Eisenhower to the Dan Ryan could not get on or off, and some truck drivers were stuck for more than two and a half hours.
