As of Noon Tuesday, Dallas' Department of Street Services continued its sanding operations at Ice Force Level 1. Crews focused on bridges, overpasses, inclines and critical public safety areas.
A 16-year-old driver was killed Monday evening in a crash on FM 156 south of SH 114.
As icicles formed over Denton County, people donned their thick winter jackets for a stroll through the snow. The snow and ice though has some people working harder.
Getting to class was tricky, for some University of North Texas students today, after snowflakes coated Denton County. Slick sidewalks made it difficult for kids to walk across campus and slushy roads proved to be dangerous for drivers.
