Fort Worth families are rallying to save their campuses as the district plans to close or consolidate more than a dozen schools.
Many district leaders say the scoring system sets schools and districts up for failure.
The controversial school choice bill allows for taxpayer money to be used to help qualifying students pay for private school tuition.
The release comes after the TEA prevailed in a lawsuit which challenged the legality of changes to the rating system.

CBS News Texas followed various lawmakers throughout the day of the vote for SB2, including nearly 11 hours of debate over the bill.
Democrats in the House are now looking to the next election, where they hope Republicans will pay a political price.
The House will take a final vote later on Thursday. The bill will then go to the Texas Senate.
Abbott told CBS News Texas what his message was to the House GOP Caucus.
"It was very traumatic, honestly... and the second time that happened," said Deliyah Martin.
The Dallas Independent School District has not said what led up to the shooting nor how a gun was able to get on campus.
One school in Willow Park has seen success through a pilot program that's getting students to forget about their devices.
