Immigration in the Trump era

The Trump administration has set out a series of measures to crack down on illegal immigration and limit the amount of legal immigration in the U.S. According to a report, more naturalized citizens are having their records reviewed and are being denaturalized. The ACLU is also accusing federal agents of collaborating to arrest and deport illegal immigrants who are going through the process to obtain legal residency. New York Times Immigration Reporter Caitlin Dickerson joined CBSN to talk about the state of immigration in the Trump era.

Trump threatens gov't shutdown

In a joint press conference with the Italian prime minister, President Trump said he would have "no problem with a shutdown" if Congress resists funding his proposed border wall. He praised Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte for his tough stance in border control. Mr. Trump also said he would be willing to meet with the Iranian prime minister to discuss the nuclear deal. CBS chief White House correspondent Major Garrett joins CBSN's Elaine Quijano with the latest.
