Taking life by storm
In Oklahoma, where tornado warnings can mean the difference between life and death, there are no bigger names in storm-chasing than Val and Amy Castor, a husband-and-wife team who serve as a mobile early warning system for approaching storms. The Castors are part of a network of storm chasers who broadcast live for Oklahoma City's CBS station, getting as close as possible to pinpoint a tornado's path. At age 24 Amy Silverstein developed a life-threatening condition and received a heart transplant. She survived with that heart, and wrote an acclaimed book, "Sick Girl," but 25 years later it, too, began to fail. She is now on her third heart, and has written a moving new book, "My Glory Was I Had Such Friends," about how her family and friends' support kept her alive. Lee Cowan reports.
