Stormy weather moving through Northern California on Thursday led to some travel issues across the Sierra Nevada.
Dozens of protesters who blocked the Bay Bridge late last year as they called for a cease fire in Gaza announced that they have reached an agreement with the court that would allow all of them to avoid jail time.
It was more of the same Sunday as snow and strong winds continued to pummel the Sierra.

On Thursday evening, the snow that was falling in Nyack quickly turned to rain. The area is around 5,000-foot elevation, and it was a wet drive up I-80 East to get there. The rain was pounding the roads that were already blanketed with snow.
With I-80 open to all vehicles, with no chain restrictions on Thursday, drivers and commercial vehicle drivers were focused on getting through before a weekend storm brings more snow. Also, Boreal, Palisades, and other ski resorts were packed with visitors eager to enjoy the fresh powder and clear interstate.
