College Campus ShootingsJune 6, 2013: Trey Foster, 22, is accused of injuring three people during a shooting at Lone Star College's North Harris campus on January 22. The shooting reportedly took place after Foster and his friend, Carlton Berry, were bumped into by a man named Jody Neal, on campus.
An argument ensued between the three and Foster allegedly pulled out a gun and started shooting.
Neal, Berry, and Bobby Cliburn, a 69-year-old campus maintenance man and innocent bystander, all sustained non-fatal gunshot wounds in the incident.
College Campus ShootingsNov. 30, 2012: Casper College President Walt Nolte and city officials said a non-student suspect killed a faculty member in a classroom on the third floor of the Wold Physical Science Center and another victim elsewhere on campus, before committing suicide.
College Campus ShootingsJan. 16, 2013: Dalton Stidham, 21, was charged with two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder in the shooting attack on the Hazard Community and Technical College campus.
Authorities say two people were shot and killed, and a teen was wounded in the parking lot of the Eastern Kentucky community college.

Aug. 14, 2012: Thomas Alton Caffall, 35, allegedly opened fire on County Constable, Brian Bachmann, 41. Shots were exchanged, leaving Bachmann, Caffall, and another man dead near the campus of Texas A&M University.
Just after noon, College Station police began fielding frantic 911 calls about gunfire in the neighborhood near the university's football stadium. Responding officers found the Brazos County Constable shot on the lawn of the house.
For nearly 30 minutes, police exchanged shots with Caffall as a neighbor, a former Army medic, waited with frustration for the all-clear so he could tend to the injured constable.Caffall was shot, and later died at a hospital.
College Campus ShootingsJan. 16, 2013: 34-year-old Sean Johnson, a part-time student at the Stevens Institute of Business & Art in downtown St. Louis, was charged with first-degree assault, armed criminal action, and two firearms violations for allegedly shooting an administrator in a dispute over financial aid.
The suspect had a history of crime and mental health issues.
College Campus ShootingsJan. 21, 2014: Authorities responded to Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind. following a report of a shooting at a campus classroom building.
The suspected shooter surrendered and was taken into custody by police. Campus police chief John Cox said that the shooter appeared to have targeted the victim.
College Campus ShootingsApril 3, 2012: Authorities said that a 43-year-old former student named One L. Goh walked into Oikos University and began a shooting rampage that left seven people dead and three wounded, trapping some in the building and forcing others to flee for their lives.
It was an "extremely chaotic scene," police Chief Howard Jordan said of the deadliest campus shooting in five years.
The chief said Tuesday that Goh killed his seven victims execution-style.
One witness said Goh told students: "Get in line and I'm going to kill you all." Goh walked into a classroom, lined up students against a wall and shot them one by one, Jordan said.
"This was a calculated, cold-blooded execution in the classroom," he said.
Goh ended his rampage by driving off in a victim's car, police said. The gunman allegedly drove about three miles from campus before surrendering to officers inside a supermarket.

Oct. 9, 2012: Authorities said University of South Alabama freshman Gil Collar, 18, who was fatally shot by a university police officer, had taken LSD, assaulted
others, and chased the officer who ultimately killed him. He was not armed at
the time of the shooting.
Mobile County Sheriff Sam Cochran held a news conference to release details about the death of Collar, of Wetumpka, Ala. The nude student was fatally wounded after allegedly confronting the officer on campus.
Collar went to a music festival and took the drug before assaulting two people in vehicles and attempting to bite a woman's arm, Cochran said.Authorities said Collar then went to the campus police headquarters, where he was shot by university police officer Trevis Austin.
College Campus ShootingsMarch 31, 2014: Campus police at Georgia's Columbus State University fatally shot 20-year-old Zikarious Jaquan Flint after officers responded to a report of someone seen loading a gun, authorities said.
Flint wasn't a student at the university located 100 miles southwest of
Atlanta near the Alabama state line, and no one else was hurt in
University Police Chief Rus Drew said officers were called at 2:35 p.m. Sunday and arrived three minutes later to an area near some campus apartments and began chasing a man on foot.
"There was a short foot chase and at some point the suspect turned and faced the officers and shots were fired," Drew said. He added that while there were some student witnesses, no lockdown was ordered because events had unfolded rapidly and authorities had determined that an "isolated threat" had ended.
