Car-free Sundays will return to part of Walnut and 18th streets near Rittenhouse Square in April, the Center City District said.

Rittenhouse Square's Shiroi Hana restaurant is closing after 20 years in business. According to the Philadelphia Business Journal, Owner Robert Moon plans to retire. This location of Shiroi Hana is one of several commercial spaces listed or sold in Rittenhouse Square in recent years. The property is listed for $1.85 million.
