Police say the remains haven't been identified and the cause of death is unclear.
They believe the driver may have witnessed Friday's shooting that killed Jim Hunt of Havertown.
Sources tipped off CBS3 that recovery crews would be back out Monday morning. They arrived around 3:30 a.m. Monday with heavy-duty equipment, including a large crane and multiple flatbed 18 wheelers.
Investigators believe there was a road rage incident between the two men before the shooting. Lloyd Amarsingh told police he was unloading his firearm at a stop light when the gun accidentally went off.
Lloyd Amarsingh is being charged with third degree murder, involuntary manslaughter, and possessing instruments of crime for allegedly killing 56-year-old Jimmy Hunt of Havertown.
Police say the shooting happened just before 8 a.m. Friday morning at Lansdowne Avenue and Winding Way, near the high school.
Reports of car thefts in Ridley Township have kept police busy. In one incident, the thieves' getaway was partially captured on camera.
