DETROIT -- The New York Jets drafted Penn State tackle Olumuyiwa "Olu" Fashanu with the 11th pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft in Detroit. 

The Jets draft focused almost entirely on offense, including dual-threat quarterback Jordan Travis, but they also added some defensive depth in the later rounds. Here are the seven players the Jets drafted: 

Who did the NY Jets pick in the NFL Draft on day 1?

Fashanu was named 2023 Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year and AP First Team All-American. He was a finalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy, which recognizes outstanding academics, community service and on-field accomplishments. 

Fashanu will be a critical part of the Jets' offensive line tasked with protecting future hall-of-fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who suffered a season-ending Achilles injury last year. 

Who did the NY Jets pick in the NFL Draft on day 2?

The Jets traded up seven spots for the first pick in the third round. The Carolina Panthers received the the Jets' third and fifth round picks. 

With the pick, the Jets took wide receiver Malachi Corley from Western Kentucky. Corley set a school record with 259 career receptions. His 29 career touchdowns are second all-time in program history. Draft analysts highlighted his speed. 

Who did the NY Jets pick in the NFL Draft on day 3?

The Jets selected running back Braelon Allen from Wisconsin, the youngest player in the draft, in the fourth round after trading back three times. Allen led Wisconsin with 984 rushing yards and scored 12 rushing touchdowns last season.

The Jets traded up in the fifth round and grabbed quarterback Jordan Travis from Florida State. Travis was an early contender for the Heisman Trophy in 2023, then suffered a season-ending leg injury that upended the Seminoles' championship hopes.

Days before the draft, the Jets traded QB Zach Wilson to the Broncos.

The Jets were back on the clock two picks later and selected Isaiah Davis, a running back from South Dakota State.

With the last pick in the fifth round, the Jets took defensive back Qwan'tez Stiggers, who played for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League in 2023. He's the first CFL player ever drafted. His journey to the NFL went from washing cars after high school, to winning Rookie of the Year in the CFL.

With the final pick of the 2024 NFL Draft, the Jets selected Alabama defensive back Jaylen Key.
