Crews Battle Massive Forest Fire In Burlington County, New Jersey
BURLINGTON COUNTY, N.J. (CBSNewYork) – Crews are battling a massive forest fire in Burlington County, New Jersey.
The blaze has burned about 1,000 acres of Wharton State Forest, CBS Philly reports.
The fire was spotted by the Batsto Fire Tower shortly before 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
By 9 p.m., about 30 percent was contained.
