New Home For Holidays: Kitten Rescued From Trash Bin Behind Bay Shore Church

BAY SHORE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) - A kitten who was found trapped in a dumpster on Long Island now has a forever home.

The rescue is all thanks to the Suffolk County SPCA.

An officer rescued the kitten at the Prince of Peace Church in Bay Shore on Friday.

She was called to the scene to help a kitten that was cold and shaking and couldn't get out.

A Good Samaritan is now adopting the mackerel tabby kitten just in time for the holidays.
