Report: Stiff Neck Forces Jacob DeGrom Start To Be Delayed A Day

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Mets pitcher Jacob deGrom's next start is reportedly being pushed back a day due to a stiff neck.

DeGrom had been slated to start Friday night against the Nationals. The right-hander will now pitch Saturday afternoon, Fox Sports reported.

Matt Harvey will take the mound in deGrom's place Friday.

Through his first three outings this season, deGrom is 0-0 with a 1.89 ERA. He has struck out 22 batters and walked four.
