This Cambodian sandwich shop recently expanded into Midtown amidst much fanfare. The sandwiches are reminiscent of Vietnamese banh mi, if you're familiar, but if you're not, they are just delicious sandwiches - and that should be more than enough to get you in the door. The various sandwiches come with pickled veggies on very good bread, laid with proteins dependent upon your sandwich choice; popular sandwiches include the catfish sandwich or pork belly, which can be a little fatty... deliciously fatty.
Zengo

Richard Sandoval's Zengo is participating in Restaurant Week for lunch, with a lovely three course menu, if you choose to partake, for $24.07... but their regular lunch menu is also quite a bargain. Build your own bento for $19, or choose from a variety of delicious options such as the tuna tataki salad & soup for $17, a Cuban sandwich with togarashi fries for $14, or even chipotle-miso glazed black cod for $27. Whatever you choose, your mouth is sure to be happy and you'll leave with a full belly!
Aoki
234 W 48th St
New York, NY 10036
(212) 956-2356
When the craving hits, what's better than a sushi lunch special for $9 that includes miso soup or salad and two rolls of your choice? Why, that same sushi lunch special with three rolls of your choice for $11 (pictured)! Aoki comfortably enjoys its status as a great go-to lunch spot for sushi, without trying to appear to be more than it is. Quick service caters to the lunch crowd, while a pretty interior allows you to sit down for lunch and enjoy yourself as you may like.
