Video Shows Coast Guard Making Air Rescue Off Long Island
MONTAUK, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- New video shows the Coast Guard making a nighttime air rescue off Long Island.
The Coast Guard says a 54-year-old man was suffering from diabetes-related health complications on board a vessel about 80 miles south of Montauk.
A Coast Guard helicopter crew hoisted the man off the ship on Tuesday night.
He was flown to a Coast Guard station in stable condition.
