Dog Rescued After Being Trapped In Crevice In Ulster County For Nearly A Week
KERHONKSON, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A dog has been reunited with her owner after being trapped in a crevice without food or water for five days
Photos show the remarkable rescue at the Minnewaska State Park Preserve in Ulster County.
The 12-year-old dog, named Liza, became trapped while on a walk with her owner on Oct. 7.
Rescuers, including a response team from New Jersey, used a rope to get down the crevice and used food and a lasso to secure the dog back to safety. Fortunately, everyone is OK.
