Crews Battle 2 Early Morning Fires 10 Blocks Apart In Newark

NEWARK, NJ (CBS 2) -- Crews in Newark spent the morning Saturday battling two fires that were just 10 blocks apart from each other.

The first blaze started at an apartment building on Ferry and Polk streets around 5 a.m. Then just down the street on Ferry and Foundry streets, another four-alarm fire broke out.

So far, no injuries have been reported.

Officials are still investigating how the fires started and if they are related.
