Car slams into building across from Astoria school
NEW YORK -- A vehicle crashed into a building Thursday morning in Astoria, Queens.
The FDNY says it happened around 8:20 a.m. on 37th Street near 31st Avenue.
One person was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital with unknown injuries.
The crash happened across the street from a middle school.
School officials said no students or staff were injured.
