The early returns on Kristaps Porzingis have been very good, as the Knicks' 20-year-old rookie continues to make a name for himself in the Big Apple.

So after discussing the big man at length during Wednesday's radio program, Boomer & Carton talked about the Latvian sensation some more on Thursday as he is quickly becoming the toast of the town.

What's more, the Knicks are off to a surprisingly good start.

There is one thing Craig is not interested in doing while Porzingis is the topic, and that is compare him to players from days gone by, namely Patrick Ewing, and he made that much crystal clear.

Meanwhile, over at Jets' camp, Todd Bowles and GM Mike Maccagnan spoke Wednesday and it sounds like they have slightly different goals for Gang Green this season. Also, Boomer is pretty excited about the Rangers as they go for their 10th straight win Thursday night in Tampa Bay.
