B&C Morning Show: What A Bunch Of Losers
The Rangers, Yankees and Mets all lost last night, so it was a pretty glum atmosphere around the Allstate Studio this morning, although Boomer did take solace in the fact that today's show began talking about the sport he loves and the team he adores.
Now I'm not talking about football and certainly not talking about the Cincinnati Bengals. Nope, after their 4-1 loss to the Devils, Craig opened up this subdued edition of the Morning Extravaganza talking about Boomer's beloved Blueshirts and their Eastern Conference finals series that is currently knotted at two games apiece after last night's setback -- and there was plenty to talk about.
Michael Rupp got a game misconduct for throwing a left-hand at Martin Brodeur and the two head coaches - John Tortorella and Peter DeBoer - engaged in their own war of words from the benches. Add all of that to an already chippy series and you've got yourself a Game 5 that should be a classic.
Rounding out the bunch of losers, both the Yankees (6-0 loss to the Royals) & the Mets (5-4 loss to the Pirates) came-up with the short-end of the stick - s0 there's that too...
