B&C Morning Show: Long-Winded Craig, Ornery Boomer, Troublesome Bombers And Fading Mets
Craig was a little long-winded when opening up today's edition of the Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza after 'his beloved' Yankees played north of the border last night and got a beatdown to the tune of 16-7 at the hands of the Toronto Blue Jays. Bartolo Colon started the game and didn't even make it out of the first inning, yielding 6 hits, 8 runs (3 earned) and 2 walks in his 2/3 innings of work.
Boomer didn't seem to thrilled with Craig droning on and on about the Yankees, who he thinks will be just fine. And unlike Craig, Booms chose to keep things in perspective instead of flying off the handle - which Craigie has a tendency to do.
As for the Mets, they open up a 3 game series with the Phillies tonight at Citi Field and Craig is wondering if Mets fans care. Boomer sure does, although he was not interested when Craig offered him tickets to tonight's game.
After all of that Craig called out the Governor of New Jersey, Chris Christie - who filled in for Boomer a while back - for not responding to his numerous messages. Boomer paid little attention to Craig spouting off, making it clear that he and Christie are getting along just fine...
