B&C Morning Show: Jerry Drops A 'Moses,' Craig Imagines A Romantic Night With Suzyn
Jerry Recco began his update with a highlight from last night's Patriots-Dolphins game courtesy of Ian Eagle. After hearing the great call, Craig asked Jerry - who calls Columbia football games - to reenact the call. But there was one caveat, he had to drop a 'Moses' while doing so.
Jerry gave it his best shot, before moving on to the performance of Tom Brady last night in the Patriots 38-24 victory. Brady was practically flawless, but leave it to Craig to find a flaw. Craigie is not a fan of Brady's new haircut, comparing it to Al Michaels' - who appears to spray paint his hair before going in-front of the camera and Bob Costas - who at the age of 59 has yet to sprout a grey hair.
The Yankees beat the Mariners 9-3 and stretched their lead over the Red Sox in the AL East to 4 games. Following the game everybody's favorite female, Yankees radio analyst Suzyn Waldman, caught up with rookie Austin Romine and likely scarred the 22-year-old catching prospect for life. From there Craig imagined what it might be like to romance Suzyn at a piano bar.
After the laughter from the Suzyn bit subsided, the guys gave a listen to some audio from Terry Collins following the 'Not So Amazins' 3-2 loss the the Nationals and they are starting to believe the Mets skipper might be losing it.
If Collins hasn't lost it yet, tonight's game may just put him over the top, as the Mets are hosting 'Star Wars Night' at Citi Field. Such a happening reminded Craig of Al Dukes' dating stories...
